The Reading Modifieds Tape # D1
Stock cars on dirt were never more respected nationally than
the modifieds on the big half-mile at the Reading PA
Fairgrounds. Big fields, top purses, and a racing groove
that ended only at the crash walls allowed monster-engined,
often fuel-injected, open-wheel coupes and coaches and their
later Gremlin bodied offspring to redefine side-by-side racing.
Many top names like Kenny Brightbill, Gerald Chamberlain, Toby
Tobias, and Al Tasnaday became legendary here.
The Reading Modifieds begins soon after the birth of the RSCA in
the 50's. Coverage increases as the years go by until our
exclusive footage of Dave Kelly's win in the final race just
before the historic track was turned in a shopping mall in 1979.

Super Sprinters 1963 - 1983 Tape # D2
Do names like Allen, Felty, Grum, and Tobias conjure up images
of the best racing you have ever seen? Before the WOO,
Central PA was the Home of the Outlaws. "Super Sprinters"
captures the first 20 years, which many of us will always
remember as the most enthralling era in sprint car history.
Watch as the "bugs" sprout humongous wings and evolve towards the
sprinters of today. Reminisce over the wins by Bobbie
Adamson, Ray Tilly, Van May, and many more.
See Lynn Paxton beat the Outlaws in New York, Weld/Opperman duels
of the early 70's, and very rare footage of Mitch Smith
"sacking" USAC at Williams Grove. Wild crash scenes
include over 50 spills highlighted by Elmer Stoltzfus's
highflying walk-away somersault over turn one, still regarded by
many as the wildest in Williams Grove history. Revisit
Reading and earlier versions of Lincoln, Port Royal,
Susquehanna, and others. Yes, you can go back one more
time.

The Fast and the Famous # D3
Over an hour of previously unreleased footage
of the original sprint car era in the East before wings and roll
cages, includes some midgets and big "dirt" cars.
Accurately narrated by the Eastern Museum of Auto Racing's Joe
Heisler and Fred Sherk, there's bound to be something in the
tape that will bring you or your favorite old-timer "to his
feet" on more time. Relive AAA, Penn Jersey, Flemington,
Gratz, Sidney, Alcyon, Langhorne, Del-Mar, Bloomsburg, York,
Schindler, Hinnershitz, Thomson, Horn, Herk, Allentown, URC,
USAC, and more!
From Joie Chitwood's 1042 win at Reading to AJ Foyt's 1963 flip at
Williams Grove, these were the good old "daze" when dirt tracks
paved the road to the Brickyard.
